Some guy from scottland with a desktop system using dhcp : and if_ef cards reported trouble with corrupted packets after upgrading to : 4.4. I was unable to help him and assumed that it was an ed bug of some : sort. (He doesn't have any other NICs to test with, unfortunately.) : : Think it could be related? No. The memory corrupted packet bug has been in FreeBSD, on and off, since about FreeBSD 1.0. Usually it means there is a problem with the card, but sometimes it just happens. The hang bug is different. There is something going on in the if_ed and linksys parts with external MII parts. If you send a packet while it is autonegotiating, then you'll get the hang.
