Current development platform is Freebsd, but that may change to OpenBSD (or BSD/OS perhaps) in the near future. The goal is a highly configurable auditing subsystem controlled via sysctl() and suitable for realtime intrusion detection products such as COAST's IDIOT (Intrusion Detection in our Time) system.
