Well, it's certainly a fault of yours that you didn't include the
sligtest hint *what* went wrong. Any error messages or other symptoms?

Linux emulation 3.0 and 2.2.8 should have been equal, IIRC, but I
don't run complicated Linux stuff on -stable myself.
