From: asami@FreeBSD.ORG (Satoshi Asami) Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG * Satoshi, any reason there are NO ports of xmcd anywhwere? I checked all * of the package directories on ftp.freebsd.org. Sorry, it's because it is defined IS_INTERACTIVE. I do an interactive build once in a while, but most of the time I set BATCH (with 1,600+ ports now, that takes a long time already). I haven't gotten around to do an interactive build for a while. IIRC it only asks some questions about the default CDROM drive, if you can make the port do a check for PACKAGE_BUILDING or BATCH and supply a reasonable set of defaults, it will be built automatically.
