Does anyone out there do something like the above but run something on the FreeBSD box to try to catch the more obvious attempts to exploit IIS weaknesses ? I realise that 'Snort' and other IDS's will protect, eg, Apache, on the FreeBSD box but will it protect an IIS machine that Apache is mod_proxy'ing for ? Going even more off topic I thought I had read of a 'wrapper' web server which is designed from the ground up to protect IIS from it's 'little problems'. I read a press release but now can't find it - if anyone knows about that I'd be interested to hear, maybe off list ? thanks richard shea. richardshea AT fastmail . fm To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
