            Bug ID: 277967
Summary: Loader should fail gracefully when /boot/loader.conf
attempts to load a module that is too large
           Product: Base System
           Version: CURRENT
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: yuri@freebsd.org

Currently an attempt to load a module that is too large causes crash, see:
(1) bug#277364
(2) bug#277827

This happens particularly for ndivia-driver.

The loader should fail with a meaningful error message instead of just
crashing.
