I just need to use vidcontrol to change it. But as I really prefer verbose logging to the console. I wouldn't do well to have a picture covering the output. If it were possible to put a 125 pixel tall banner at the top of the screen with a hi-res 1024x768 console, there-by still allowing the output to flow underneath; that would be cool. But till then, I think I'll stick to the pure output the kernel provides.
