Hm. That could be part of my problem I suppose. I'm not having any luck running a buildworld using the new kernel (claimed it ran out of memory (???) once and just froze another time) so I'm going to have to strip it out and do things in the proper order to be sure everything is working correctly (buildworld first, then new kernel). I'm not terribly surprised by this behavior -- the sources are 1.5 months apart in age after all. Sean
