I've just installed FreeBSD 2.1.0 off the CDROM on my Pentium 100 machine, and
intermittently I get timeouts on the on-board SCSI adapter (based on the
Adaptec 7870). It issues a reset to the controller, the drive light goes off
and it never comes back.
