Dear list: I want to thanks in public to Jason Bacon that in few hours ported the last= version of Praat (an excellent program for phonetics and bio-acoustic) to = FreeBSD. The software work in my laptop much better that the version of Deb= ian GNU Linux (my previous operating system). This is the first time that I= contact with a programmer and this has been incredible. I am absolutely su= rprised by the fast and the kind response of this person. Really the FreeBS= D community is great. Now I can continue with my bioacoustic research. Exce= llent !!! I send a copy of this mail to Paul Boersma, one of the authors of this exce= llent software.
