Some aspects of the program do not yet work, and many bugs remain. It has been tested on Linux 2.0.24 with a SoundBlaster compatible card running half-duplex only: If you manage to get it to run on other versions of Linux, or with other sound cards, please let us know and we'll compile a list of what works, and what doesn't. The purpose of this release is to test the Linux specific code: RAT v3.0.x for SunOS/Solaris/IRIX/Win32 will be made available in a few months, once a number of additional features have been implemented. Work is progressing on ports to HP-UX and FreeBSD, we will announce these at a later date.
