I've been wanting to do a port of mars_nwe for a while now, but I never got around to it. I'm a FreeBSD committer, so I'll be happy to look at our port, and commit it (add it to the official ports tree) if it passes inspection. --- Donald Burr *NEW EMAIL ADDRESS!* | PGP: Your WWW HomePage: http://DonaldBurr.base.org/ ICQ #1347455 | right to Address: P.O. Since the myrinet card is not supported by FreeBSD Inc, but by the hardware vendor please contact them (help@myri.com). Right now, they're either shipping the driver I wrote, or the one from ISI. Mail me the OS version you're using, the driver version you have & the hardware you're running on and I'll see if I can help. When you reply, please drop freebsd-net from the CC list, I doubt there's much general interest in this. KAME packages are provided hoping that they will be reference implementation for IPv6, IPsec and advanced internetworking features on BSD variants. They are freely available without warranty. As always, the stable packages are available from http://www.kame.net. Here attached RELNOTES to sum up the differences from the first stable release: <> - Tunnel mode IPsec is now ready (just for IPv4). - IPsec becames fairly stable, thanks to interoperability test held between 7/29-30 at Keio University. - Home-brew IKE daemon "racoon" appears. We need some work to make it actually usable. - Key management API is now PF_KEY version 2. <> Input: - Multiple prefixes are now properly handled. - Default router list handling became more sophisticated. - Timer handling became more sophisticated. - Both prefix list and default router list are visible by "ndp". Output: - "rtadvd" now can handle multiple prefixes on one link. - "rtadvd"'s timer handling became more sophisticated. - "rtadvd" checks RA consistency. - "rtadvd.conf" became easier-to-configure thanks to implicit default values. - RAs are now generated with the source link-layer address option. <> - ICMPv6 redirect became acceptable. - ICMPv6 error message is now generated against unknown header. <> - RAW IPv6 is now gained access from user space without IPv6 header to conform to Stevens's spec. - "struct sockaddr_in6" contains indexes to conform the upcoming draft. - "getaddrinfo" became more stable. - "getnodeinfo" has been provided. <> - IPv6 support for fetch, lpd, and others. - Enriched "port" collection including ALTQ, heimdal, IM, MRT, Perl5, SOCKS64, UCD SNMP, v6tun, and so forth. <> - For FreeBSD, ALTQ has been merged into the kernel.
