That's all we support on 4.X. PC98 is a special case and I'm not sure if that's going to be put on ftp-master for all of the mirrors as it was with 5.0, or if it will only go to the japanese ftp mirrors as it was with previous releases. 5.1 will have sparc64, ia64, etc.. - Murray To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-hubs Mon Mar 3 6:13:48 2003 Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 59F6637B401 for ; Mon, 3 Mar 2003 06:13:47 -0800 (PST) Received: from visp.engelschall.com (en4.engelschall.com [195.27.176.146]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A12BA43F3F for ; Mon, 3 Mar 2003 06:13:46 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from rse@visp.engelschall.com) Received: by visp.engelschall.com (Postfix, from userid 1000) id 0C5404CE516; Mon, 3 Mar 2003 15:13:46 +0100 (CET) Date: Mon, 3 Mar 2003 15:13:45 +0100 From: "Ralf S. 答案肯定不是的!

However, we're still having trouble keeping up with the changes when things get busy around release time. We synchronize once daily using ftp. Last night we only managed to pull 600mb during the night - we stop mirroring sometime in the morning. This left us with around 1.8gb still left to pull. Obviously this is not good and means we lag further behind when a release happens and we're therefore offering out-of-date files. Is there anything we can do to improve this? Maybe a faster site to mirror off - I think there may be an EU master site now? Use rsync instead of ftp and the world will thank you for not consuming all of their bandwidth. rsync does partial transfers of binary files and is ideally suited for mirroring. -sc -- Sean Chittenden To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-hubs Wed Mar 5 17:11:21 2003 Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 42F5A37B401 for ; Wed, 5 Mar 2003 17:11:20 -0800 (PST) Received: from white.imgsrc.co.jp (ns.imgsrc.co.jp [210.226.20.2]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0DC0643FB1 for ; Wed, 5 Mar 2003 17:11:19 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from kuriyama@imgsrc.co.jp) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by white.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0281A24DCE; Thu, 6 Mar 2003 10:11:18 +0900 (JST) Received: from black.imgsrc.co.jp (black.imgsrc.co.jp [2001:218:422:2::130]) by white.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id D828524DA8; Thu, 6 Mar 2003 10:11:15 +0900 (JST) Received: from black.imgsrc.co.jp (black.imgsrc.co.jp [2001:218:422:2::130]) by black.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id AA7921E4816; Thu, 6 Mar 2003 10:11:15 +0900 (JST) Date: Thu, 06 Mar 2003 10:11:15 +0900 Message-ID: <7mzno9s3ik.wl@black.imgsrc.co.jp> From: Jun Kuriyama To: Tim Bishop Cc: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Subject: Re: Trouble keeping up... How about trying to use ftp-master.cz.FreeBSD.org as mirror source?
