I haven't noticed this on my ultra 60, when I saw your pr I synced the clock with ntpdate, it had been up for about a week and was only a small fraction of a second off. I'll try running the same cron job to see what happens. AFAIK the only other person I know with an e250 doesn't have this problem either, and he has 400 mhz cpu(s) as well. So I don't really know what to suggest.
