With this e-mail i also wanted some more support or help with linux compatibility, the handbook is usually great but the part about this is very incomplete imo and sure it shows how to install a bunch of well known programs but what about some documentation on compiling and installing generic code written for linux? This is almost like porting but i do belive that with the linux compatibility mode i could make this application run on my freebsd system. I was thinking maybe the INCLUDE directive in the makefile needs to be changed but like isaid i'm not sure of anything because i lack docs on this. -- Med vänliga hälsningar Stefan Midjich, Swebase AB Tel: 042-20 15 00 Fax: 042-20 15 03 E-post: info@swebase.com Webb: http://swebase.com From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Nov 1 11:01:48 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id CA40316A4CE for ; Mon, 1 Nov 2004 11:01:48 +0000 (GMT) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A4F7743D3F for ; Mon, 1 Nov 2004 11:01:48 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@freebsd.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (peter@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.12.11/8.12.11) with ESMTP id iA1B1mTI094079 for ; Mon, 1 Nov 2004 11:01:48 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@freebsd.org) Received: (from peter@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.12.11/8.12.11/Submit) id iA1B1lvi094073 for emulation@freebsd.org; Mon, 1 Nov 2004 11:01:47 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@freebsd.org) Date: Mon, 1 Nov 2004 11:01:47 GMT Message-Id: <200411011101.iA1B1lvi094073@freefall.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: freefall.freebsd.org: peter set sender to owner-bugmaster@freebsd.org using -f From: FreeBSD bugmaster To: emulation@FreeBSD.org Subject: Current problem reports assigned to you X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 01 Nov 2004 11:01:48 -0000 Current FreeBSD problem reports Critical problems S Submitted Tracker Resp.
