In that last case, it will only work on FreeBSD 4.x, that's why you received a message that flash support was unavailable. linux-opera should work with linux-flashplugin{6,7} out of the box. (do you really want to mail the freebsd webmasters?) http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-newbies Welcome to FreeBSD! This list is a gathering place for people new to FreeBSD. Please feel free to share your experiences with others on this list. Support questions should be sent to freebsd-questions@freebsd.org. (hmmm. looks like they don't provide support) anyhow. the short story is that, for 99.87% of the questions you're likely to have, freebsd-questions is the right place. please don't spam the other lists. good luck getting your flash audio working. i'm sure that someone will eventually be able to help you out. cheers, epi p.s. another good habit to develop is taking the time to search the archives. this question may already have been answered for another user. i am not saying that it has, but you never know until you look. ;) to reach the archives for any list, check out the link on its summary page. *** To any posters who may reply to this thread: please exclude the other lists going forward. gracias. *** > Paulo. >=20 > On Sun, 11 Jul 2004 13:17:29 +0200, Arjan Van Leeuwen =20 > wrote: >=20 > > Hi Paolo, > > > > You don't need the linuxpluginwrapper if you're using linux-opera, > > only if you're using FreeBSD Opera. One slight issue that I have with the current build now is that there is no make dependency on the glossary file, so editing the freebsd-glossary.sgml file and rerunning make in books/handbook doesn't cause a rebuild. Please post this description: CoSORT Sort/Report/ETL CoSORT is the leading high-performance data sorting and manipulation package for high volumes processed on UNIX servers. CoSORT first shipped on UNIX in 1985 and can sort in parallel at rates exceeding 2GB per minute. CoSORT is most commonly used for: mainframe and COBOL sort and data migrations; speeding very large database (VLDB) reorg and loads; integrating and staging massive data warehouse (and data webhouse) extracts in ETL and ODS environments; directly replacing more than a dozen third-party sort engines with plug 'n' play interfaces; and, for writing custom reports in simple-to-complex, multi-format/multi-target environments. CoSORT can collate and convert between more than 100 data types. Most importantly, CoSORT allows you to combine sorting with its selection, joins, aggregation, type-conversion, cross-calculation, remapping, and formatting functions all in a single-pass through your data. Visit www.cosort.com, or call 1-800-333-SORT for more information and your FREE 30-day trial. However, we make ISO images available that anyone can use to produce a CD set or anything else. (However, you could e.g. become a reseller of the stuff that http://freebsdmall.com or http://www.bsdmall.c= om offer). If you want to make donations to the project, please contact the FreeBSD Foundation, http://www.freebsdfoundation.org.
