I can't add extensions (.oxt file) using the extensions manager. I get this error (note the misspelling) "bad tranfer url". Also, the OO manual says you can just double click a .oxt file to open the manager, but Ark gets to it first since it recognizes it as a .zip format, even though it doesn't recognize the .oxt file extension. I couldn't find any way to get Ark to ignore these files. I also reported this to PCBSD, as I can't be sure what's causing this. ...Jeff From owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Feb 8 05:34:17 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id F1DC316A46C for ; Fri, 8 Feb 2008 05:34:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kerry@nmsu.edu) Received: from mail.fastwave.biz (mx0.newmex.net [12.155.13.85]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A062413C4EC for ; Fri, 8 Feb 2008 05:34:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kerry@nmsu.edu) Received: from mail.fastwave.biz (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by spam-int.fastwave.biz (Postfix) with ESMTP id 13E6C178811D for ; Thu, 7 Feb 2008 22:02:43 -0700 (MST) X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.9 (2007-02-13) on southern.fastwave.biz X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.4 required=5.0 tests=AWL,BAYES_00 autolearn=ham version=3.1.9 Received: from mail.fastwave.biz (unknown [127.0.0.1]) by spam-ext.fastwave.biz (Postfix) with ESMTP id E8B841788221 for ; Fri, 8 Feb 2008 05:02:42 +0000 (UTC) Received: from .localdomain (azerial.fastwave.biz [12.155.13.9]) by mail.fastwave.biz (Postfix) with ESMTP id B8F3F178811D for ; Thu, 7 Feb 2008 22:02:42 -0700 (MST) Message-ID: <47ABE2CE.2030302@nmsu.edu> Date: Thu, 07 Feb 2008 22:04:14 -0700 From: Kerry Alt User-Agent: Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 (X11/20080204) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: openoffice@freebsd.org Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="------------080205020200010502020107" X-Virus-Scanned: by Fastwave.biz Cc: Subject: oo build fails... It would be nice if anyone could fix the build instructions on = http://porting.openoffice.org/freebsd/ There is said: Building/installing/packaging a localized language package (Japanese = version for example) % cd /usr/ports/editors/openoffice.org-2 ; make LOCALIZED_LANG=3Dja % su Password: # make install package But if I do not "package" - I did not try, I do not want a package, so if I # make install I end up with the en-US version. To install the localized version, I have to # make LOCALIZED_LANG=3Dja install I found out by blind guessing. Maybe it is obvious if you work with = packages a lot.
