There are also a lot of FreeBSD users in North America... :-) How busy are the other NA mirrors? I've been using cvsup7 for many years now. I don't mind switching to some other mirror which has plenty of spare capacity, but I wouldn't want to end up on a mirror which is already heavily loaded. -- Garance Alistair Drosehn = gad@gilead.netel.rpi.edu Senior Systems Programmer or gad@freebsd.org Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute or drosih@rpi.edu From owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Jan 17 07:02:17 2009 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E4C95106564A for ; Sat, 17 Jan 2009 07:02:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bw@exodus.desync.com) Received: from exodus.desync.com (exodus.desync.com [IPv6:2607:f178::164]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A67C18FC17 for ; Sat, 17 Jan 2009 07:02:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bw@exodus.desync.com) Received: from exodus.desync.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by exodus.desync.com (8.14.3/8.14.3) with ESMTP id n0H72Gxi015550 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA bits=256 verify=NO); Sat, 17 Jan 2009 02:02:16 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from bw@exodus.desync.com) Received: (from bw@localhost) by exodus.desync.com (8.14.3/8.14.2/Submit) id n0H72G5M015549; Sat, 17 Jan 2009 02:02:16 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from bw) Date: Sat, 17 Jan 2009 02:02:16 -0500 From: ben wilber To: Garance A Drosihn Message-ID: <20090117070216.GA15482@exodus.desync.com> References: <49713C98.9070409@polstra.com> <4971402E.1010703@psg.com> <59adc1a0901161945j5eb8cb83j1884c690dd6c0b11@mail.gmail.com> <497162D3.9050504@psg.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: X-Angst-Level: High User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.18 (2008-05-17) Cc: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Subject: Re: cvsup7.us.freebsd.org disabled X-BeenThere: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: "FreeBSD Distributions Hubs: mail sup ftp" List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 17 Jan 2009 07:02:18 -0000 On Sat, Jan 17, 2009 at 12:47:59AM -0500, Garance A Drosihn wrote: > How busy are the other NA mirrors?
