One of the bits (the xrandr stuff) appeared to be dynamically compiled based on the automake stuff that I saw (since my chroot didn't have xrandr installed), but I figured that I should consult the experts first. Are all of the optional packages being properly addressed in pkg-plist? If not, then I have a starter patch to work with, but I'd need some guidance as to what all needs to be done to detect potential issues with conditionally installed bits. I upgraded ports a few weeks ago, before bsd-canada (actually right before), and when gnome came up via gdm on my console.. no login window. Because of this, a lot of modules for PHP tumbled in core dumped - the problem is permanent and old. Or is it better to make a differen port - with the previous version libxml2 the problem is not affected. -- Good Luck From owner-freebsd-gnome@FreeBSD.ORG Thu May 27 20:33:51 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: gnome@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id ABC0C1065674; Thu, 27 May 2010 20:33:51 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pgollucci@frieza.p6m7g8.net) Received: from frieza.p6m7g8.net (wsip-174-79-184-239.dc.dc.cox.net [174.79.184.239]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6B7648FC1D; Thu, 27 May 2010 20:33:51 +0000 (UTC) Received: from frieza.p6m7g8.net (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by frieza.p6m7g8.net (8.14.4/8.14.4) with ESMTP id o4RKXocr030740; Thu, 27 May 2010 16:33:50 -0400 (EDT) (envelope-from pgollucci@frieza.p6m7g8.net) Received: (from pgollucci@localhost) by frieza.p6m7g8.net (8.14.4/8.14.4/Submit) id o4RKXo6M030739; Thu, 27 May 2010 16:33:50 -0400 (EDT) (envelope-from pgollucci) Date: Thu, 27 May 2010 16:33:50 -0400 (EDT) Message-Id: <201005272033.o4RKXo6M030739@frieza.p6m7g8.net> To: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@freebsd.org From: "Philip M.
