There's an #if HAVE_MALLOC_H, malloc.h shouldn't be included. Do we really need the following patches? I compiled chrome without them, they include #define HAVE_MALLOC_H 0 which obviously doesn't affect anything. patch-third_party__ffmpeg__config__Chrome__freebsd__ia32__config.h patch-third_party__ffmpeg__config__Chrome__freebsd__x64__config.h patch-third_party__ffmpeg__config__Chromium__freebsd__ia32__config.h patch-third_party__ffmpeg__config__Chromium__freebsd__x64__config.h patch-third_party__ffmpeg__ffmpeg.gyp This should probably go and just add use_system_yasm=1 at GYP_DEFINES. Some todo tweaks are: - possibly add a dependency on devel/libpci, this accelerates loading of HTML5 videos a bit by saving a timeout seen on the console (then also to -beta and -devel) - tickets for 'chromium' - maybe more... The biggest todo for chromium-10.0.648.X is to get it render pages on 8.2 and below. I guess someone with a big machine should build a debug image and/or see what's different libthr on 7.4/8.2 versus CURRENT. Then it's a matter of keeping up and submitting patches upstream.
