As beat and i obviously don't use PGO I'm seriously considering removing the option. It causes nothing but pain after every upgrade. Nobody tests the betas, but people complain when the releases are broken. Patches are welcome... When I wrote patch I read that: If there is no pending PR, the next step is to send an email to the port's maintainer, as shown by make maintainer. That person may already be working on an upgrade, or have a reason to not upgrade the port right now (because of, for example, stability problems of the new version); you would not want to duplicate their work. Note that unmaintained ports are listed with a maintainer of ports@FreeBSD.org, which is just the general ports mailing list, so sending mail there probably will not help in this case. >From the porters-handbook... The localizations files seem to be properly installed but they are not recognized by Firefox, i.e. there is no 'Languages' tab in the add-ons panel. I also found that Thunderbird had the same problem after the upgrade to version 10. -- Christian From owner-freebsd-gecko@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Feb 3 21:16:59 2012 Return-Path: Delivered-To: gecko@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 43FE9106564A for ; Fri, 3 Feb 2012 21:16:59 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from flo@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2A1978FC14; Fri, 3 Feb 2012 21:16:59 +0000 (UTC) Received: from nibbler-wlan.fritz.box (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.5/8.14.5) with ESMTP id q13LGvro023813; Fri, 3 Feb 2012 21:16:58 GMT (envelope-from flo@FreeBSD.org) Message-ID: <4F2C4EC9.1070100@FreeBSD.org> Date: Fri, 03 Feb 2012 22:16:57 +0100 From: Florian Smeets User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:10.0) Gecko/20120124 Thunderbird/10.0 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: clutton References: <1328240015.12333.14.camel@eva02> In-Reply-To: <1328240015.12333.14.camel@eva02> X-Enigmail-Version: 1.4a1pre Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-sha1; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="------------enig7FEC043F62C0B33717972DC8" Cc: gecko@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: www/xpi-unplug version update X-BeenThere: freebsd-gecko@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Gecko Rendering Engine issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 03 Feb 2012 21:16:59 -0000 This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156) --------------enig7FEC043F62C0B33717972DC8 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable On 03.02.12 04:33, clutton wrote: > Hi I create update patch. >=20 > When I wrote patch I read that: >=20 > If there is no pending PR, the next step is to send an email to the > port's maintainer, as shown by make maintainer. If you send a PR the chances as less that someone forgets about your PR. Patch committed.
