List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 23 Aug 2016 17:26:17 -0000 Hi all, just installed RC1 on my T540 Thinkpad. I installed some tools did a few reboots, then added the laptops wireless Intel 7260 firmware to /boot/loader.conf iwm7260fw_load="YES" if_iwm_load="YES" (think i put them i this order, shouldn't matter?) after a reboot unlocked my Geli and selected the default boot options. Next i see the usual text scrolling by, see a glimpse of iwm driver. Then Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode (with more info... ) then the machine reboots. Next tried single user mode and safe mode, with the same results. I managed to take a picture of the last lines before a reboot. I'll send a link to it in a minute. How to remove these kernel modules from a Geli encrypted harddisk? Or what other method should be used to correct the situation? I can re-install the machine, just trying to learn new tricks. But using lagg failover still inevitably crashes the system. Only the backtraces don't make any sense, I don't think I get a backtrace of the rig= ht stack, there's not even a call to panic() in the trace. Maybe the stack gets smashed. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-wireless@freebsd.org Fri Aug 26 02:53:27 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-wireless@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id ECCF8BC6C35 for ; Fri, 26 Aug 2016 02:53:27 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from paxswill@paxswill.com) Received: from new1-smtp.messagingengine.com (new1-smtp.messagingengine.com [66.111.4.221]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id B443B1CEC for ; Fri, 26 Aug 2016 02:53:27 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from paxswill@paxswill.com) Received: from compute3.internal (compute3.nyi.internal [10.202.2.43]) by mailnew.nyi.internal (Postfix) with ESMTP id DBCBAB61 for ; Thu, 25 Aug 2016 22:48:15 -0400 (EDT) Received: from frontend2 ([10.202.2.161]) by compute3.internal (MEProxy); Thu, 25 Aug 2016 22:48:15 -0400 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha1; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=paxswill.com; h= content-type:date:from:message-id:mime-version:subject:to :x-sasl-enc:x-sasl-enc; s=mesmtp; bh=+/YVKF23yydEUqMOYYDHZR+sE1A =; b=kELXMFR09wYbN1TeOPeTpZZZZolnAp3yql2yFa+DIMPTG5QgzTlxaAJR4uD M83lC4esA4CkKZ+BPaOSbZ4uAV/UMT8Hyl/a7eDrBF3EjLT/zbR2wcGAc27IzS3c X08cWFJ96OMBci8mZvQcMjWN+Hsc+FsyCzo4MgEWaQ/w1oD8= DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha1; c=relaxed/relaxed; d= messagingengine.com; h=content-type:date:from:message-id :mime-version:subject:to:x-sasl-enc:x-sasl-enc; s=smtpout; bh=+/ YVKF23yydEUqMOYYDHZR+sE1A=; b=bBHCgz6Aqf9l9wqrReVjFQsimmuhenlPbK Hbjs0PD0oW6vmBjkpX9AK9s4CqkPQ99hnr4XRbnJWwzzbJaYL95xZHYkN0bAWFB4 cZCrzxQz2BRc+Ysr+U58gZxV6cQ42Q8CMX4BB8Sk8ksD/GEprr5GVQv7GrII8W5n 9BV7JnJQU= X-Sasl-enc: 1JmbQPCEOXLSwfX01/voJgVg2lu7ojU4GuwcFT36+7tf 1472179695 Received: from thor.home.paxswill.com (pool-100-36-166-184.washdc.fios.verizon.net [100.36.166.184]) by mail.messagingengine.com (Postfix) with ESMTPA id 3DE8FCCE76 for ; Thu, 25 Aug 2016 22:48:15 -0400 (EDT) From: Will Ross X-Pgp-Agent: GPGMail Content-Type: multipart/signed; boundary="Apple-Mail=_E04232D2-C7B7-4124-9ADB-FFCB088AAF24"; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; micalg=pgp-sha512 Subject: urtwn: firmware not loading in 11.0 and CURRENT, possible regression from 10.3?
