With a default environment these files are correctly located in share, not lib. This indicates some environmental variable is set improperly. That said, I am not sure what variable would have this effect. ports(8) has a list of environmental variables used by the ports system, but I don't see any that would place files in lib instead of share. For instance on a French layout, this is the '<' key. This fixes an issue where the key fires no evdev event and thus remains inactive in an evdev/libinput-enabled X.Org server. The issue only occurred on an AT keyboard; the same key on a USB keyboard worked fine.
