On a running system the equivalent is bsdconfig(8) - you can type = `bsdconfig netdev' to get straight to the Network Interfaces menu. - Felix From owner-freebsd-wireless@freebsd.org Thu Apr 5 14:35:04 2018 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-wireless@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 02434F8A258 for ; Thu, 5 Apr 2018 14:35:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 927A17F35D for ; Thu, 5 Apr 2018 14:35:03 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D122E13D09 for ; Thu, 5 Apr 2018 14:35:02 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id w35EZ2mA075896 for ; Thu, 5 Apr 2018 14:35:02 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id w35EZ2tV075893 for freebsd-wireless@FreeBSD.org; Thu, 5 Apr 2018 14:35:02 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-wireless@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 216091] iwn0 issues on FreeBSD11 Date: Thu, 05 Apr 2018 14:35:01 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: wireless X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-STABLE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: regression X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: vinchenzo@gmx.us X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-wireless@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: cc Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-wireless@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.25 Precedence: list List-Id: "Discussions of 802.11 stack, tools device driver development." Well, i have had: IWN_DEBUG=3D1 IEEE80211_DEBUG=3D1 in /etc/src.conf for quite some time; looking through /sys/dev/iwn, the only places I see the "word" IWN_DEBUG are: =2E/if_iwn_debug.h:28:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:175:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:350:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:428:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:1320:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:2254:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:2265:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:3920:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:3946:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:4144:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG =2E/if_iwn.c:8948:#ifdef IWN_DEBUG g1-215(11.1-S)[9]=20 [Yes, I was running stable/11 at the time I did the "grep", but looking in the head sources, and the controller panics described were while running head.] So I'm happy to try more things, but I'll need a bigger hint; sorry.
