All I know, is that I went to upd= ate firefox to address a CVE, and got a non-starting executable. You kindly explained, what's happening -- by pointing me at this bug-report. Clearly, I was not alone with the problem. I then suggested, the failure to freeze should not be fatal -- and you invi= ted patches. The one-liner I proposed solves the problem -- the freezing is sti= ll attempted, but a failure is no longer fatal. Now, maybe, it is not good enough, but I resent having to recompile the ker= nel -- and rebooting -- just to upgrade one application. That may be overly onerous, but to simply require it for an application to start -- without so much as a warning -- was certainly a blunder, that needs correcting. Chromium itself, for all its other flaws, has no problem starting on my machine. Lastly, the patch should not FreeBSD-specific. OpenBSD has the same API too, and, likely, so do the others. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-gecko@freebsd.org Wed Jan 22 23:41:25 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-gecko@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4DFF4222508 for ; Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:25 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48323n1Q6kz3CgV for ; Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:25 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 30756222506; Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:25 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: gecko@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3039B222505 for ; Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:25 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br) Received: from midia98.galochaltda.com.br (midia98.galochaltda.com.br [176.107.129.17]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48323m1LMcz3CgP for ; Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br) Received: by midia98.galochaltda.com.br (Postfix, from userid 33) id 6D58083346; Thu, 23 Jan 2020 00:32:07 +0100 (CET) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/simple; d=midia98.galochaltda.com.br; s=mail; t=1579735927; bh=cUTCGVzP08mHMwoj8nS7HtX+EwRW/New72V2SaXr170=; h=To:Subject:Date:From:Reply-To:From; b=hD9hehPCrkWVKzqXE7wE9GmPJUoz/ab/jeu4o65a3++Keqw3avX0nAJwaA+RvmKeU 4w/HengWRJklk1TeXvH4ff7FOHoRNj3J02EvkLrpIMS2BKqr8r3YCr1Q9DTtT4vlrh wrS6Cz8PFFnF7ifVtWvCMpWpqXrMN4wRXBn0CBZSNaQDNHxE0nOUMZI8Tpq71uSMI8 0YzLq4U8g5rSMQiGJfVS5JLpWckhfLCkEO0vx46igpFAvC9lMuQ5K73KEm2JBRg7ZT 7zNy5Ta2/ASU6hgcP366SdzrDdjdTUUwxAvPxE+q8Mu3yfSiedSTzMCLOg/gyG0qoB CKFKMZrEld3gQ== To: gecko@freebsd.org Subject: =?UTF-8?Q?Ordem_1506498_inclus=C3=A3o_em_CPF?= Date: Thu, 23 Jan 2020 00:32:07 +0100 From: JOSE ANANIAS BRANDAO 726108 gecizz Reply-To: JOSE ANANIAS BRANDAO 726108 gecizz Message-ID: X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: PHPMailer 5.2.4 (http://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/phpmailer/) MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Rspamd-Queue-Id: 48323m1LMcz3CgP X-Spamd-Bar: +++++++ Authentication-Results: mx1.freebsd.org; dkim=pass header.d=midia98.galochaltda.com.br header.s=mail header.b=hD9hehPC; dmarc=pass (policy=none) header.from=galochaltda.com.br; spf=pass (mx1.freebsd.org: domain of atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br designates 176.107.129.17 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br X-Spamd-Result: default: False [7.78 / 15.00]; HAS_REPLYTO(0.00)[atendimento72583@midia98.galochaltda.com.br]; R_SPF_ALLOW(0.00)[+ip4:176.107.129.17]; TO_DN_NONE(0.00)[]; URI_COUNT_ODD(1.00)[1]; DKIM_TRACE(0.00)[midia98.galochaltda.com.br:+]; MIME_BASE64_TEXT(0.10)[]; HAS_X_PRIO_THREE(0.00)[3]; DMARC_POLICY_ALLOW(0.00)[galochaltda.com.br,none]; RCVD_NO_TLS_LAST(0.10)[]; FROM_EQ_ENVFROM(0.00)[]; MIME_TRACE(0.00)[0:+,1:+,2:~]; IP_SCORE(0.58)[ipnet: 176.107.128.0/19(1.62), asn: 205727(1.23), country: PL(0.07)]; ASN(0.00)[asn:205727, ipnet:176.107.128.0/19, country:PL]; ARC_NA(0.00)[]; R_DKIM_ALLOW(0.00)[midia98.galochaltda.com.br:s=mail]; REPLYTO_EQ_FROM(0.00)[]; FROM_HAS_DN(0.00)[]; TO_MATCH_ENVRCPT_ALL(0.00)[]; MIME_GOOD(-0.10)[multipart/alternative,text/plain]; HAS_PHPMAILER_SIG(0.00)[]; NEURAL_SPAM_MEDIUM(1.00)[0.996,0]; RCPT_COUNT_ONE(0.00)[1]; BAD_REP_POLICIES(0.10)[]; RBL_VIRUSFREE_BOTNET(2.00)[17.129.107.176.bip.virusfree.cz : 127.0.0.2]; NEURAL_SPAM_LONG(1.00)[1.000,0]; RCVD_COUNT_TWO(0.00)[2]; MID_BARE_IP(2.00)[]; GREYLIST(0.00)[pass,body] X-Spam: Yes Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.29 X-BeenThere: freebsd-gecko@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.29 Precedence: list List-Id: Gecko Rendering Engine issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 22 Jan 2020 23:41:25 -0000 RG9jdW1lbnRvIDQyOWtiIChWaXN1YWxpemFyKSANCg0KDQoNCg0KQm9hIHRhcmRlLCZuYnNwOyBz ZWd1ZSBlbSBhbmV4byBHdWlhIGRvIA0KcGVkaWRvLENhZGFzdHJhbWVudG8gZGEgaW5jbHVzw6Nv IGVtIENQRi4NCkF0ZW5jaW9zYW1lbnRlLEpPU0UgQU5BTklBUyBCUkFOREFP
