So you just type ppp and you can set up step by step. When you connecting a modem through cua02 correctly, type a ' term' that is entering into line terminal emurater for dialing by your modem command and login to peer. If peer is speeking PPP protcol (Not Japanese I hope ;-), ppp will turn into "packet mode" automagically. See more detail by "man ppp" and configuration sample under /etc/ppp/ppp.*. > Thanks.
