I'm considering picking up a SCSI CDROM drive, probably a Toshiba 3501 quad speed. I'm wondering if anyone has any success stories using SB16 SCSI2 adapter for attaching CDROMs. They can be had (without box, but with software & docs) for <$100 at local computer shows. Is this a valid alternative to buying a full blown SCSI host adapter? Also, how is this thing configured in the kernel? Thanks. -- # $Id: dot.signature,v 1.1 1995/02/11 02:28:11 nwestfal Exp $ Neal Westfall nwestfal@csci.csusb.edu FreeBSD 2.1.0-Development #0: Fri Feb 10 23:31:36 1995 root@darkside.csci.csusb.edu:/usr/src/sys/compile/DARKSIDE CPU: i486DX (486-class CPU) Id = 0x435 Origin = "GenuineIntel"
