FreeBSD 2.0.5

22014 i3- IEs+ 0:01.24 (rlogin)
22040 i3- IE+ 0:00.19 rlogin -E -8 easy1.mediacity.com

Won't die in response to a 'kill -9'. Anyway to determine where
they are actually stuck?

Guessing, I suspect it is stuck in ttywait, and it has something to do
with hanging up the modem with the process running.
