There were missing libraries in some of the XFree86
binaries and I've replaced four of the binary releases:

ftp.cdrom.com:pub/FreeBSD/XFree86/2.2-CURRENT/XF86312S
ftp.cdrom.com:pub/FreeBSD/XFree86/2.2-CURRENT/XF86312E
ftp.cdrom.com:pub/FreeBSD/XFree86/2.1-STABLE/XF86312S
ftp.cdrom.com:pub/FreeBSD/XFree86/2.1-STABLE/XF86312E

where XF86312S is last public major release and
XF86312E is most recent _beta_ release of XFree86.

The file README.FreeBSD has an installation guide.
Sysinstall can also be used to unpack any of these.

Sorry to those who got bit by missing libraries!
