I rebooted the server, cleaned up /var/tmp. This happened on two different sup clients. ANy ideas what might be screwed? Solved it. I guess I had a filesystem problem. fsck'ing the disk in question gave invalid blockcounts. Hhhmm, strange that a FS is can get corrupted during normal uptime.
