I'm experiencing similar behaviour on my machine at work. It simply can't auto-boot. It passes all POST tests, and then hangs with a message ``Initializing Plug and Play cards''. It's an Elite mainboard, in newer BIOSes of these boards, the Plague&Pray test can be disabled, and everything works fine.
