The chipset is the i400FX, which is supposed > to be like that on the Intel Venus. I was planning to use it with two Pro > 150s. no reports yet, but I suspect it would be fine. If my budget could afford a P6 that would be my choice. I currenly own the GA586DX and am very happy with it. --- > (Also, what are my options for running SMP, without an net connection?) by this do you mean options for acquiring the source? if so, at present cvsup and CTM are the only methods for acquiring the source that I am aware of. --- redirect further inquiries to smp@freebsd.org web page: http://www.freebsd.org/~fsmp/SMP/SMP.html -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD From owner-freebsd-hardware Fri Mar 21 03:13:22 1997 Return-Path: Received: (from root@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) id DAA09871 for hardware-outgoing; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 03:13:22 -0800 (PST) Received: from fgate.flevel.co.uk (root@fgate.flevel.co.uk [194.6.101.2]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) with ESMTP id DAA09858 for ; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 03:13:19 -0800 (PST) Received: (from graham@localhost) by fgate.flevel.co.uk (8.7.5/8.6.9) id LAA11849 for hardware@freebsd.org; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 11:13:15 GMT From: Graham Breach Message-Id: <199703211113.LAA11849@fgate.flevel.co.uk> Subject: TFT displays To: hardware@freebsd.org Date: Fri, 21 Mar 1997 11:13:15 +0000 (GMT) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4ME+ PL31 (25)] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-hardware@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Does anyone have any experience of using TFT LCD displays under FreeBSD? -- /* Graham Breach */ From owner-freebsd-hardware Fri Mar 21 06:29:09 1997 Return-Path: Received: (from root@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) id GAA17182 for hardware-outgoing; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 06:29:09 -0800 (PST) Received: from www.medport.ru (WWW.MEDPORT.RU [194.226.206.20]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) with ESMTP id GAA17155; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 06:28:38 -0800 (PST) Received: from elf.medport.ru (ELF.MEDPORT.RU [194.226.207.3]) by www.medport.ru (8.7.5/8.6.12) with SMTP id RAA03055; Fri, 21 Mar 1997 17:26:32 +0300 (MSK) Message-ID: <33329A60.5479@www.medport.ru> Date: Fri, 21 Mar 1997 17:25:36 +0300 From: Vladimir Andreyev Reply-To: vna@www.medport.ru Organization: Institute of Human Health X-Mailer: Mozilla 3.0Gold (Win95; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: freebsd-fs@freebsd.org CC: freebsd-hardware@freebsd.org, freebsd-scsi@freebsd.org Subject: Fujitsu MO M2513 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=koi8-r Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-hardware@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Dear sirs, Would you be so kind as to help me on the following matter: I have a great problems in installing of Fujitsu M2513 magneto-optical disk drive under FreeBSD v.2.2. The hub adds four 100BASE-TX ports to your network now---then as your needs grow, stack additional hubs or switches together for greater expansion. The entire stack acts as a single tightly integrated hub, which maximizes control over your network nodes, reduces traffic problems, and takes advantage of your network's fastest possible bandwidth. For maximum flexibility, the Stackable Hub can either be stacked with another Stackable EtherFast Hub, or uplinked to other Fast Ethernet hubs, letting you mix and match network nodes any way you want. Four 100BASE-TX with shared 100Mb per second bandwidth Stack up to 2 stackable hubs together Uplinkable to other hubs, bridges, or switches Auto partitioning protects PCs from downed network lines Built-in data collision control Preamble regeneration and incoming frame retiming Conforms to IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet Standards Easy-to-read utilization LEDs for fast troubleshooting 5 Year Limited Warranty Model Description CDW Price CDW Part# EZHUB04S EtherFast 100BASE-TX 4-port stackable hub $268.76 81908
