Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Date: Sun, 22 Nov 1998 19:32:31 -0600 From: Chris Csanady Sender: owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org As far as I can tell, this got lost the first time. I apologize if some of you get this twice. I am using Fxtv 0.47, and can not seem to capture any audio. After I start the capture, fxtv freezes up and the process is stuck in the dsprd state. The capture file is created, although it is zero bytes. This is using current as of today, although it was broken in my last build as well. (Nov. 5 I think) Any ideas? Without prior arrangement, but every time you play a song, you write it down. Several times a year you count up how many songs you played, multiply by the current royalty rate, and submit the song list along with a cheque to a royalty clearing house. They add up how often each song was played and disburse the funds accordingly. --lyndon (a very occasional DJ once upon a time, who *hated* filling in those damned logs.) -- Finger lyndon@execmail.com for PGP key. Basically, x11amp seems to be getting 'lagged', meaning it seems to respond for 1/2 sec, then it's dead for 1/2 second. I'm kinda suspecting something in IPC because it seems x11 calls are somehow being batched then sent all at once to it. But i haven't seen this with any other app :( Sorry this is lacking of information but i can't think of anything to trace it with.
