All went smoothly so far - all but one strange exception: The 'isdnd' didn't come up while booting. It complained: "ERR could not bind remote monitor socket to port 451, errno = 49" After the system was up, I could start the 'isdnd' with all the same arguments on exactly the same tty(v6) manually without a problem. Graphic-card is an ELSA Winner Office 8MB AGP with the Permedia2-Chip. Has anybody some ideas/hints about that? Ciao/BSD - Matthias PS: isdnd from 0.70 hasn´t this problem. --- ********************************************************************* Matthias Schündehütte E-Mail: Matthias Schuendehuette Solmsstrasse 44 Phone: +49-30-69409824 D-10961 Berlin Data/Fax: +49-30-69409825 GERMANY Handy: +49-172-3270397 This message was sent by XF-Mail on FreeBSD 3.2-STABLE ********************************************************************** To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-isdn Sat Aug 14 7: 3:59 1999 Delivered-To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Received: from elch.de.uu.net (elch.de.uu.net [192.76.144.55]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id AD3E11518E for ; Sat, 14 Aug 1999 07:03:52 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from ben.bucksch@uumail.de) Received: from uumail.de (pec-52.au1.wi.uunet.de [149.228.146.52]) by elch.de.uu.net (5.5.5/5.5.5) with ESMTP id QAA18825 for ; Sat, 14 Aug 1999 16:01:39 +0200 (MET DST) Message-ID: <37B5773F.375097ED@uumail.de> Date: Sat, 14 Aug 1999 16:03:43 +0200 From: Ben Bucksch X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.6 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.0.36 i686) X-Accept-Language: de MIME-Version: 1.0 Cc: freebsd-isdn@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: ISDN Config References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-isdn@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hellmuth Michaelis wrote: > > ich habe die FritzCard PCI und das aktuelle i4b 0.82. Meanwhile I tried OpenBSD and there, the link was missing. I added it and was able to connect after some tries (maybe in another post, if I have more info). This happens sometime directly after starting lynx or ftp, sometimes shortly after the connection to the server established or after while (1 or 2 min.). Please ask for any required info.
