The project is simple, yet involved. I need someone with C programming knowledge on FreeBSD/Linux They must be able to write self-contained, efficient daemons They must know how unix sockets work, tcp/ip, etc. They must know something (or be able to figure out) SQL servers (MySQL). They must know good, efficient coding practices. Basically, I'm swamped with the systems and database end of it all and I don't write a lick of C (which is why the system is currently using Perl and Apache). I need someone to re-write everything in C and make it as fast as can be. Know somebody? Did I mention the pay will be very good?
