Atomz.com is a venture funded start-up on a tremendous growth curve. It seems natural to go to the FreeBSD community to try and find someone to take charge of our increasing IT needs as a Director of Information Technologies. The bland job description is attached below, but the reality of the situation is we are looking for someone who is up to the challenge of planning and implementing an IP network topology using FreeBSD servers that would be on par (or ideally exceed) what other FreeBSD based services such as HotMail, LinkExchange and Yahoo have in terms of robustness, efficiency and security. Also, for the Director position we are not only interested in someone who is a master of server and network technology, but can also build and lead a team of people that keeps our service running smooth on a 24x7 basis. This person must also be able to communicate well with all departments and work within a strong team environment to accomplish nearly impossible tasks. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for this ground floor opportunity at Atomz.com, please forward an ASCII/HTML resume or a URL to a web based resume to "mike@atomz.com". Because we are looking to move as fast as possible in making a hire, we are especially interested in candidates already located in the S.F. Bay Area.
