DOH!  I'm up too late again...

I see you're fetching the port category and not the distfile like I
read it.

Still, you'll be much happier by getting an entire ports tree installed
and synched with CVSup than by trying to piecemeal the categories.

Here's the least painful way I know to get started:

pkg_add ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/CVSup/cvsupit.tgz
