It's called "Sparc Architecture, Assembly Language Programming, & C" by a guy with the surname Paul, and is published by Prentice Hall. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough cash on me to pick it up, but here's the interesting part - All the books that I mentioned above were GONE from the shelves of the bookstore in Sunnyvale that I planned to purchase them from following my last post. Does that strike anyone as odd? Or does everyone on this list go to the same bookstore that I do? <:) Lyndon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-sparc" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-sparc Wed Jul 21 12:41:52 1999 Delivered-To: freebsd-sparc@freebsd.org Received: from xylan.com (postal.xylan.com [208.8.0.248]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8F28D1558D for ; Wed, 21 Jul 1999 12:41:47 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from wes@softweyr.com) Received: from mailhub.xylan.com by xylan.com (8.8.7/SMI-SVR4 (xylan-mgw 2.2 [OUT])) id MAA08529; Wed, 21 Jul 1999 12:40:42 -0700 (PDT) Received: from omni.xylan.com by mailhub.xylan.com (SMI-8.6/SMI-SVR4 (mailhub 2.1 [HUB])) id MAA09865; Wed, 21 Jul 1999 12:40:06 -0700 Received: from softweyr.com (dyn2.utah.xylan.com) by omni.xylan.com (4.1/SMI-4.1 (xylan engr [SPOOL])) id AA08253; Wed, 21 Jul 99 12:40:38 PDT Message-Id: <37962236.F458C6D1@softweyr.com> Date: Wed, 21 Jul 1999 13:40:38 -0600 From: Wes Peters Organization: Softweyr LLC X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.5 [en] (X11; U; FreeBSD 3.1-RELEASE i386) X-Accept-Language: en Mime-Version: 1.0 To: Lyndon Griffin Cc: "freebsd-sparc@FreeBSD. It's WAY too expensive for what you get; it would be much better at $20 or so. Of course, only one other book on SPARC assembler seems to exist. This one has nothing on SPARC64. Sunnyvale would be a bit far for me; I ordered mine through the Knobs and Boners (or is that Barnes and Noble?) in Sugarhouse. That would be Salt Lake City to you. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
