        Hi,

I have yesterday's FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE and Creative AWE64 ISO PnP (not 'Gold').
It worked at some time with FreeBSD 3.x.
Now I can only play audio CD's but not mp3:

pcm0: <SB DSP 4.16> on sbc0
<skipped>
pcm0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead

FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Dec 10 2000 19:02:31
Installed devices:
pcm0: <SB DSP 4.16> at io 0x220 irq 9 drq 0:5 (1p/1r channels duplex)

I have this in kernel config:
options PNPBIOS # no big difference
device pcm
device          sbc
I have also tried
device sbc0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 9 drq 0 flags 0x0
and
device sbc0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 9 drq 0 flags 0x15
but this doesn't work either.
irq5 & 7 are already used. Here are ouput of pnpinfo:
