The listing below was left out. It should appear between the lines: "checking whether we are using GNU C... yes" and "configure:1747: cc -E conftest." in the listing from my previous email. It seems that in addition to the pthread problems, that I listed in my last email, there is an APXS problem. I am using the mod_Apache port. I already have used the port to install Apache+ssl+fp. I'm not entirely familiar with the mechanisms used by the mod_Apache port, but I thought that it used APXS - but I don't show APXS as "installed." John configure: error: Sorry, I cannot run apxs. This is probably an oversight on my part as I edited the port for php 4.0.1pl2. I can add the path to apxs (/usr/local/sbin) but I am still curious about the thread errors that showed up in the configure log. Can anyone comment on that? Sorry for the multiple postings.
