This is an Event where BSD is very popular and highly respected. Is anyone interested in participating in a FreeBSD booth there? NetBSD and OpenBSD are already present and it would be a shame to see no FreeBSD booth. If there's no interest, I'll be keeping our flag up at either the NetBSD or the OpenBSD booth :-) - Christian --=20 http://www.unixpages.org chris@unixpages.org GPG Pub-Key : www.unixpages.org/cbrueffer.asc GPG Fingerprint: A5C8 2099 19FF AACA F41B B29B 6C76 178C A0ED 982D GPG Key ID : 0xA0ED982D --ey/N+yb7u/X9mFhi Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.0 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE99LMRbHYXjKDtmC0RAsQsAKDHkze5wmPM6ybzTU6XjT4+QbQ1DwCgmukU ftZsMjX0wwNw/PCln+Hyfxo= =W+6A -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --ey/N+yb7u/X9mFhi-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-advocacy" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-advocacy Wed Dec 11 22: 8:33 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-advocacy@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4773937B401 for ; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 22:08:32 -0800 (PST) Received: from out016.verizon.net (out016pub.verizon.net [206.46.170.92]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 74CA043E4A for ; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 22:08:31 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from res03db2@verizon.net) Received: from verizon.net ([4.47.69.1]) by out016.verizon.net (InterMail vM.5.01.05.20 201-253-122-126-120-20021101) with ESMTP id <20021212060830.XKFC1716.out016.verizon.net@verizon.net>; Thu, 12 Dec 2002 00:08:30 -0600 Received: (from res03db2@localhost) by verizon.net (8.9.3/8.9.3) id WAA02051; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 22:08:55 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from res03db2) Date: Wed, 11 Dec 2002 22:08:55 -0800 From: Robert Clark To: Haikal Saadh Cc: Andy Hung , "Cameron Green (wildmail)" , Cuong , dave , Jeremy Mawson , Nik Saers , Nishchal Kush , admiral_paul@hotmail.com, patsimon12@yahoo.com, Wes Clarke , advocacy@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: A FreeBSD User Reviews Mandrake. There were several USB attached network cards, and each OS instance was able to talk to at least one. This allowed him to run tests from several sides of a firewall at the same time. Obviously this rig wouldn't be able to stress test gear over USB, but that would require a different setup. At the moment, I think this setup would require Linux be the base OS.
