Of course I am talking > about users and not develloper ,because not every user of FreeBSD is also > a develloper. Now I finally got Efficent 3060 driver to working condition. There is still some work to do: to clean up kld unloading and VC deletion to separate Alcatel MTC-20316 (and similiar PHY) into mii bus driver as there are other PCI cards which can use this (I have 3Com cards with IDT77225 SAR and alcatel ADSL) and I probably have to make port of this driver as alcatel firmware is actually axtracted from windows driver and can't legally distribute it (after 2 years of unsuccessful discussions with efficient and alcatel I gave up) Still, after 2-3 weeks there will be another ATM card driver for freebsd available in some form. PS. Harti, maybe you can convince core team to include your netgraph patches for NATM in current? best regards, taavi To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-atm" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-atm Wed Jan 30 2:30:44 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-atm@freebsd.org Received: from mailhub.fokus.gmd.de (mailhub.fokus.gmd.de [193.174.154.14]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B79B137B400 for ; Wed, 30 Jan 2002 02:30:40 -0800 (PST) Received: from beagle (beagle [193.175.132.100]) by mailhub.fokus.gmd.de (8.11.6/8.11.6) with ESMTP id g0UAUQK06332; Wed, 30 Jan 2002 11:30:26 +0100 (MET) Date: Wed, 30 Jan 2002 11:30:26 +0100 (CET) From: Harti Brandt To: Taavi Talvik Cc: Christophe =?ISO-8859-1?B?UHLpdm90YXV4?= , Subject: Re: FreeBSD, Fore and VPI>0 In-Reply-To: Message-ID: <20020130112858.P79422-100000@beagle.fokus.gmd.de> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-atm@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org On Tue, 29 Jan 2002, Taavi Talvik wrote: TT>PS.
