Hi folks,
I finally can come up with some statistics:
These are the downloadstatistics for FreeBSD from
Sep 2nd 2002 up to Oct 29th 2002 for
ftp.leo.org aka ftp4.de.freebsd.org
They cover FTP only (i.e. no rsync/http/etc),
and I also provide detailed stats for the "release" subdir, only.
Any suggestions for future stats (data and format) welcome.
The 4.7 i386/ISOs are obviously most successful

After lots of helpful comments from many people, both mirror maintainers
and otherwise, I have prepared what I think of as a commit candidate of
this patch. Actually, there are three patches now: one for the
Handbook, one for the website's main page, and one for the sysinstall
source. They can be found at:
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/doc/doc-resources.patch
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/doc/src-resources.patch
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/doc/www-resources.patch
Please feel free to make any comments on those patches; if everything
looks right, I think I will commit them on Monday or a day or two
earlier.
G'luck,
Peter

ftp.ca.freebsd.org (currently a CNAME to ftp.freebsd.org) should stay

Argh.. seems that I only did a partial job of that when I received your
original e-mail about the ca.FreeBSD.org domain. Fixed now.
