This facility will have about 15 Windows XP workstations served by a Free= BSD=20 server running NATD, IPFW, Sendmail, etc. which will be connected via IPS= EC=20 to the corporate LAN. There will also be a 2nd server used as a collectio= n=20 point for an Apache/PHP/MySQL barcode equipment database system, and poss= ibly=20 a 3rd FreeBSD box for a "hot spare" for the primary server. The servers w= ill=20 be remotely administered, so will not require a lot of day-to-day attenti= on=20 locally. We need a good person familiar with both FreeBSD and Windows XP who woul= d=20 like to pick up some hourly consulting time. The immediate task is the installation of the primary server, which will = be=20 pre-configured as far as possible, upgrading the workstations to Windows= XP=20 from 98, installing Anti-virus and email.
