No. I just priced them out at D-link's site. I don't quite understand it, but the cardbus version (DWL-650) is 59 US while the pccard version (DWL-650H) is 99 US. I wonder if they're web site has got these two versions reversed. If you find a good price on one of these, let me know. I'll continue to look around for one. > : I'm also curious if the 802.11b+ (22Mbps) cards work in FreeBSD. > : Dlink offers one of these in the DWL-650+. > > No. These have a TI chipset in them, but TI won't release the details > of its programming :-(. Here's what's new in dmesg apparently as a result of the cis_debug flag (full dmesg output follows the signature): cis mem map d1b00000 pccard0: CIS tuple chain: CISTPL_END ff cis mem map d1b00000 CISTPL_LINKTARGET expected, code ff observed It looks to me like a null tuple chain was found where a link target was expected. But I have no clue how to interpret this in context. All advice appreciated! Bob Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project.
