I was hoping someone can tell me more about the realplayer playback statistics when i watch streaming video. What i am not clear about is: 1) frames lost: how is this stat measured? does the source notify the client about the number of frames it should have got and then client compares it with what its actually got? 2)Packets Lost: when i play a video of a known file ,in conditions without congestion, i get 6000 packets received and no packets lost.but under conditions of congestion, the same file stats are something like 2500 receieved and 600 lost. But the received and lost dont ad up to 6000?so whats happening? any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Vinod __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Y!
