I just dumped my linux-binaries of OOo and build the portsverision and it mostly works (good work! ;)). So far so good, but I have encountered a few "hickups". When I want to load something into OOo, it just don't display any files/dirs containing special chars (in my case the danish זרו). The linux-version could. Why is that? Secondly, I can't choose the danish dictionay, or rather, get OOo to accept my choice. Every time I go into "Options" -> "Language Settings" -> "Writing Aids" -> "Edit (Available language modules)" it's always set to English, no matter how often I select Danish (which *is* available). # ls -l /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/user/wordbook/ total 2110 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 898 Oct 19 02:41 README_da_DK.txt -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 19459 Oct 19 02:41 da_DK.aff -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1245167 Oct 19 02:41 da_DK.dic -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 532 Oct 19 02:41 dictionary.lst -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1809 Oct 19 02:41 en_US.aff -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 695724 Oct 19 02:41 en_US.dic -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 6068 Oct 19 02:41 hyph_da.dic -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 42621 Oct 19 02:41 hyph_de.dic -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 79289 Oct 19 02:41 hyph_en.dic -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 22097 Oct 19 02:41 hyph_ru.dic #less dictionary.lst DICT en US en_US DICT da DK da_DK Oh... and tried replicating it at /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/share/dict/ooo/ ... same deal...
