I wondered if there is a way to edit the diskette to preset the IRQ and I/O address for the NIC? is there any simple editor like ee or pico that I can use while the picobsd system is running, I couldn't find one in the /bin directory. can picobsd (net) support NFS to share a cd on FreeBSD 4.4 server? the system I'm working on does not have a cdrom drive, but is in the same subnet as the server. after configuration and loading I was able to telnet into and out of the picobsd system to the freebsd system. I put the hosts I need to work with in /etc/hosts and I put the freebsd system in /etc/resolv.conf for nameservice. I added the gateway IP and hostname to rc.conf.
