Nothing great on one hand, on the other, it should be able to display vector graphics and some (quite simple) forms. I am already searching the "embedded"-sites, getting more and more confused about the pro's and con's of pico-gui, microwindows, tiny-x, ... Has anybody experience with FreeBSD and one of these ? The requirements are: - small footprint (!) - some support for (quite basic) widgets (like Textbox, Checkbox, list, button) - support to display vector graphics - client / server architecture is _not_ required ( a "simple" lib also would do - hopefully saving space) Target system is a 486, 32MB, SVGA, diskless (currently testing an Advantech SBC) Thanks in advance for sharing your experience! -- ciao - Richard "you have moved your mouse, please reboot to make this change take effect" Richard Kästner Woerthgasse 17 2500 Baden Austria mailto:richard.kaestner@ycn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-small" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-small Mon Nov 18 16:11:37 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-small@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7FACF37B401 for ; Mon, 18 Nov 2002 16:11:36 -0800 (PST) Received: from mail.cruzio.com (dsl3-63-249-66-221.cruzio.com [63.249.66.221]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0AF5543E42 for ; Mon, 18 Nov 2002 16:11:36 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from brucem@mail.cruzio.com) Received: (from brucem@localhost) by mail.cruzio.com (8.11.3/8.11.3) id gAJ0hbO01263; Mon, 18 Nov 2002 16:43:37 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from brucem) Date: Mon, 18 Nov 2002 16:43:37 -0800 (PST) From: "Bruce R.
