(something like ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1 in windows..., which seemed to work there...); or is there a source for the kernel to be configured in a different way? or... what...? see my problem? i first installed KDE, but it took me 20 min just to load... but i know someone used KDE on a P200 and it was loading faster, a lot faster... i ended up here, so if i'm not too much of a pest, please help me with my problem; i tried to search the net for some problems like mine, or some "tweaks"... respectfuly yours, vlad From owner-freebsd-bugbusters@FreeBSD.ORG Sun Jul 6 13:47:52 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugbusters@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 31D1637B401 for ; Sun, 6 Jul 2003 13:47:52 -0700 (PDT) Received: from analog.databits.net (analog.databits.net [198.78.65.155]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with SMTP id C73DF43FF2 for ; Sun, 6 Jul 2003 13:47:51 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from petef@absolutbsd.org) Received: (qmail 8409 invoked by uid 1000); 6 Jul 2003 20:42:22 -0000 Received: from localhost (HELO analog.databits.net) (sendmail-bs@127.0.0.1) by localhost with SMTP; 6 Jul 2003 20:42:22 -0000 From: Pete Fritchman To: Vlad In-Reply-To: Message from Vlad <20030706190657.B109D44005@mx1.FreeBSD.org> Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2003 15:42:22 -0500 Message-Id: <20030706204751.C73DF43FF2@mx1.FreeBSD.org> cc: freebsd-bugbusters@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: ...problem?
